There are two color groups of pansies shown on the pattern cover of Pansies With Leaves (purple & pink with yellow & white accents) & they all have ruffled edges for a soft look. We used DMC #8 Perle Cotton for most of the flowers since there is a wide range of color combinations to choose from. You may also use #10 or #20 crochet threads or split skeins of embroidery floss into two groups of three strands each to enlarge your color palette even more. Use a #7, 8 or 9 steel hook with these threads.
